Spectral Shard is a normal unique Blade found in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Spectral Shard has a Dark Blue tint.

Spectral Shard carries 50% Faster Cast Rate, as much as any item in the game holds and available at level 25, thirty-six levels before Wizardspike reaches the same number. On its own it takes a Sorceress from 13 frames per cast down to 10, and a Necromancer or Paladin from 15 down to 11, with nothing else on the character contributing.

It grants no skill levels, which is what keeps it out of later caster setups. Spirit unlocks at the same required level with +2 to All Skills and up to 35% Faster Cast Rate, so Spectral Shard is what a caster uses while those four runes are still missing.

How to upgrade Spectral Shard

You can upgrade Spectral Shard to a Stiletto with the following cube recipe:

1 Ral Rune + 1 Sol Rune + 1 Perfect Emerald + Spectral Shard

When upgrading Spectral Shard to a Stiletto the level requirement will increase to level 30.
